Getting Paid/Escrow

1. 1-2 Weeks Before Settlement- Use the Escrow Request Form. Minimum of 1 week.

2. Look for the email from klrw472@kw.com that your check has been printed

3. Check your Mailbox for the printed check

• We get that emergencies/forgetting can happen every once in a while. Email the office as early as possible and we will do our best.

• In DE you can also use Pay at the Table to have your check cut before settlement. You can turn this in at the same time as the escrow.

• If the date is pushed up, email Klrw472@kw.com AND frontdesk472@kw.com about the change and they will accommodate your request.

**Escrow requests for the day of may not always be able to be accommodated. The office will try their best but sometimes it cannot happen. In this case, most title companies/lawyers can deduct the commission from the check coming to the office if the EMD is less than the brokerage split.

1. 1. Create an opportunity in command

   2. Fill out the commission and click submit.

   3. Submit commission check to the office

   4. Upload closing documents and all compliance documents to Command

Fill out the ACH form and return to Trish. This only needs to be done once to set up direct deposit.

   2. Commission submitted command

   3. Any updates to closing dates or changes in commission need to be sent to the MCA ASAP

   4. Closing documents and all compliance must be uploaded to Command

1. 1. After the commission check is received in the office, the average turnaround time is 2-3 business days. Turnaround is faster with direct deposit over a printed check.

   2. If a commission check has to be mailed to the office or dropped off by another person, this can add time to the turnaround because the office doesn’t have it yet.

   3. Checks received at the end of the month/beginning of the month (30-2) may require an extra business day. This is the monthly transmittal period for all MCA’s and require much of their attention and time.

   4. The commission request must be submitted in Command in order to start processing the check.

1. 1. Commissions should be submitted within 48 hours of contract ratification.

   2. If changes need to be made to the commission, send an email to klrw472@kw.com outlining the changes.
